Rosario García-Montero
Director and screenwriter
She holds a degree in Media Studies from Universidad de Lima (1998) and a Master’s degree in Film Production from The New School, New York (2005). She is currently studying for a master’s degree in Audiovisual Screenwriting at UNIR, Spain (2019).
Selected by Filmmaker Magazine as one of the “25 New Faces of Independent Film,” Rosario García-Montero wrote and directed three short films: Locked (2002), Do You Feel Lonely? (2004), and Perfidia (2006). These films have earned wide recognition at prestigious film festivals, winning eight awards and screening at festivals around the world.

In the summer of 2006 she attended the screenwriting workshop at the International Film and Television School (EICTV) in Cuba, where she began the script for The Bad Intentions, a feature film project that premiered at the 2011 Berlin Film Festival and received more than 20 awards worldwide.

Since its founding in 2006, our company has experience in the development, production, and release of feature films. In 2008, our debut feature THE BAD INTENTIONS won Dicine production and distribution funding in 2011, premiering at the Berlin International Film Festival and going on to become Peru’s official submission for the Oscars in 2012.
